Both surgeons were raised in El Paso, graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston, did their general surgery residency at Texas Tech, and have completed 12-month fellowships in bariatric and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Each has performed over a hundred bariatric surgeries involving minimally invasive techniques. They also serve as Medical Directors of Del Sol Bariatric Center.
